Services
A Simple Service - includes any adjustments and a safety check of your door. This can be completed for as low as $90 with the average minor repair running to $140. Any major repair over this price will be quoted before commencement.
Cable Off or Broken - I have on board new cable and manufacturing tools to exactly suit your door size and type. With a full service on your door included in the price, your door will be back running quickly and smoothly. A typical job is around $200 - $300.
Circuit Board & Electrical Problems - can be resolved in most cases with replacement parts. I carry most replacement parts.
New Openers - I carry a range of quality new openers to replace obsolete or badly worn units that may be uneconomical to repair.
New Remote Controls (Handsets, Transmitters) - Many makes and models are available. Occasionally a Secondhand Remote is available or I can convert your old ones to new keyring styles with an add on receiver for around $250.
Stripped or Broken Gears - are usually not a problem. I can replace most makes and models and re-fit your opener, which also includes a door service, at around half the cost of a new opener i.e. $260 - $320.
Weather Seals - can be replaced in many cases - I am happy to discuss this.
Chain Broken - a new chain index or connector could be what you need - with correct fitting and adjustment and a full service, a happy door and customer is the result. A full service with this type of repair is usually around $250 on your tilt door or panelift door.
Broken Springs - I carry a range of popular size springs - all quality Australian made - to quickly & efficiently replace your springs. Normal replacements are usually between $480 - $580 pair. I recommend changing both springs, even if only one has broken, as from my experience, the other spring usually breaks within a short time of the first repair - basically doubles the cost. Tilt Door Springs can also be replaced, but I am not geared up as well for these jobs. Overhead doors are my speciality.
